OBAYASHI CORPORATION is seeking a Safety intern with a strong interest in Tunneling and/or Underground Projects in the USA.

Our Safety Intern role gives you hands-on exposure to how safety programs are managed in construction, industrial, and corporate environments. You’ll get to learn from experienced safety professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that keep our teams safe.

What You’ll Do:

  • Join site inspections and safety audits.
  • Help track and analyze safety data; think incident reports, near-misses, and safety observations.
  • Assist in creating safety presentations and reports for management.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute ideas to improve safety programs.
  • Support compliance with regulations and company safety standards.

  • Current students in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related fields.

  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and visit worksites safely.

HOURLY PAY RANGES:

  • $25-30/ HOUR

The expected pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Obayashi Corporation provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
