What You’ll Do

  • Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Keep Kitchen Board forms updated and maintain proper organization at your station.
  • Uphold top-tier sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Minimize waste and follow proper portion control for all menu items.
  • Maintain a safe, positive work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Participate in daily briefings and follow all production schedules and procedures.
  • Coordinate with management to exceed expectations in food quality and presentation.
  • Follow cleaning schedules for equipment and kitchen areas.
  • Support safe work habits and comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

  • Preferred culinary knowledge and passion for Japanese-inspired cuisine.
  • Ability to stay organized, focused, and efficient during high-volume periods.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain a positive attitude, and support a cooperative work environment.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Basic ability to handle electronic equipment and follow company procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in both temperature-controlled and hot environments (open-kitchen concept).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for long periods.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds; occasional pushing/pulling of carts or kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Strong vision, hearing, and mental acuity to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Professional appearance and proper uniform required.
  • Excellent personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Bilingual strongly encouraged.
