About the Position:
A leading entertainment company is seeking a Licensing Coordinator to join their licensing team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multi-task effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Product Development and Marketing teams in organizing and routing product submissions
- Coordinate feedback on product submissions across teams
- Manage deliverables and timelines to ensure production schedules are met
- Maintain and share approved assets with team members
- Update licensor lists and contract rights
- Assist with internal and external meeting preparations
- Research and identify key industry trends
- Handle day-to-day tasks, new initiatives, and projects
- Coordinate sample shipments to licensors
- Develop presentation decks for internal and external use
- Create quarterly royalty reports
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
- Excellent project management skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments
- Capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational and process-oriented skills
- Experience working with multiple managers
- Self-motivated and proactive
- 1-2 years of experience in licensing or brand management
- Fluent Japanese language skills (verbal and written) a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google software
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Interest in anime, video games, and US/Japanese pop culture
