As a Localization Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end localization of product UI, help documentation, and marketing content across 11+ languages.

Description You’ll work hand-in-hand with engineering, QA, information development, and marketing teams to ensure smooth international launches that delight our global customers. You’ll own vendor relationships and workflow design, balancing speed, quality, and cost while driving innovation across our localization systems. You will track issues, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers quickly to keep releases on schedule. You’ll also champion process improvements and tooling enhancements that make our systems more scalable and future-ready.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Linguistics, Translation, Computer Science, International Studies, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience managing localization projects for software or technical content
  • Work experience with and understanding of localization and internationalization principles, QA processes, and translation workflows
  • Proven track record with CAT tools (e.g., WorldServer), translation memory, and terminology management
  • Experience handling common localizable file formats (XLIFF, JSON, XML, HTML, XAML, etc.)
  • Experience working with translation vendors and balancing machine translation post-editing with quality requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Experience with Agile development and experience thriving in fast-paced iterative release cycles
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python or similar) to improve workflows and scalability
  • Familiarity with AI-driven approaches to scale and innovate localization processes
  • Experience with subtitle localization (e.g., VTT, CPL/CPS handling)
  • Upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude – You bring passion and dedication to your job and are committed to delivering the best global experience for our customers
  • Multilingual proficiency (French, Japanese, German, Italian, or Spanish) a plus

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
