Description

Set up, operate, or tend manual press machine used to shape metal material to meet product specifications.

• Operate equipment, load and remove material from press
• Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment
• Place removed material onto conveyor or stack into containers
• Report any operating difficulties to supervisor
• Make press and feed gearing adjustments as necessary
• Set up manual presses and receiving containers
• Determine when dies need to be sharpened
• Maintain production records and inventories
• Follow standard work instructions
• Perform other duties assigned

Other Job Functions

• Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
• Perform 5-S activities

Requirements

• Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with position, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
• Must be willing to cross-train
• Must be able to work company’s required overtime
• Must comply with FIC’s Attendance and Punctuality Policy
