Job purpose
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams supporting production operations. This role is pivotal in managing and executing strategic projects that drive operational excellence and align with our core values: Integrity, Excellence, Transparency, and Teamwork.
Duties and responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Project Oversight
- Manage and develop high-performing teams working on production support initiatives
- Provide clear guidance and mentorship to ensure successful execution of projects
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Project Management
- Lead projects including new model introductions, technical documentation, and standard creation
- Lead or oversee development of reports tailored to various levels of management
- Ensure timely delivery of ad hoc assignments supporting production goals
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other departments to ensure project alignment
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly across all levels of the organization
- Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement effective solutions
- Standardize best practices and support documentation initiatives to maintain operational integrity
Essential Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing support, operations, or project management
- Previous leadership experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Japanese language proficiency
