  • Account Manager, Individual Contributor (IC) Roles (either 12 months contract start, or Full Time Employment depending on candidate’s experience).
  • Targeting roughly between JPY 5M-7.5M Base salary (Will depend on the candidate’s experience/skill set, this will be assessed through interviews. If you find strong IC candidates above this range, please still share).
    There will be variable incentive bonus added on top of base (80/20 plan, calculation is 25% of base if the talent hits 100% of their targets).
    Sample: Employee on JPY 5M base can receive JPY 1.25M annual variable incentives if they hit 100% of targets (total JPY 6.25M). If they hit less than 100%, this will be prorated accordingly, they can also exceed targets and get more than 1.25M. Payout of incentives are quarterly.
  • This is a B2B sales position working directly with our top revenue making hotel partners. We are hiring for either Osaka or Tokyo office start (considering shortage in our Osaka office, best to focus more on talents who are flexible to work in both locations).
  • Travel on occasion (e.g., market visits or events with hotel partners, 0-20% of time), but this also depends on the market the talent will be covering.
  • For Associate Market Manager: 0-2 years or professional working experience, for one level above (Market Manager), 2-4+ years of B2B sales/account management experience. Talent must be bilingual (fluent to native Japanese, business English). Note: we do not want fresh graduates, the candidate must have some extent of professional working experience.
  • Person will work in a team of 8-10, reporting into our ‘Area Manager’ i.e., Manager of Account Managers. We have a very diverse team of talents coming from different backgrounds and that have joined as fresh graduates or mid-career, all account managers are bilingual.
  • We plan to have 2 step interviews, with 3 panelists. 1st Round: Meeting 2 Area Managers of Japan office, separately. 2nd Round: Meeting our Senior Director of Market Management
  • Ideally, we’d like to onboard someone ASAP, but we are OK also with 1-1.5 months’ notice for the right candidate. Note: we conduct background checks, which take 2-3 weeks to complete. Even if the candidate is immediately available, we cannot onboard immediately.
  • We are globally on hybrid model, with expectation to come into office 50% of the time and flexibility to work from home the remaining 50%. Depending on the team/manager ,there may be designated offices days e.g., Tue – Thurs are offices days.
