Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (responsibilities include, but are not limited to)
Administrative:
• To maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations and reply to the time sensitive emails from agents / customers and branches.
• To take care all relating documentations such Data entry, Item maintenance, any kinds of documentation relating on Merchandising management.
• Plan and coordinate ordering include import shipments or local shipment Physical inventory operations.
• Track and trace shipments and update status frequently
• Provide guidance and solutions to meet the need of the clients.
• Assist with maintaining physical condition of warehouse
• Assist with sales team processing orders
• Will work on the achievement of business objectives through placement of new items at all assigned stores
• Distribution Audits
• Will work to meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs and ensuring signage are in place. Reset Activity and Schematics Completion
• Must be able to maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards. Must be able to maintain schematic integrity through consistent communication with Supervisor and other retail personnel
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally to management and externally with Customers who will verify work is completed correctly
• Liaising with transport companies, suppliers, and clients
• Ensuring that all quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
• Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems in Microsoft Excel.
• Oversees Sales/Profit/and stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
• Ensures milestones and goals are met.
• Follows policies and procedures; Completes tasks correctly and on time
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
• Establishes a positive relationship in order to effectively influence vendors. This includes heavy interaction with vendors to solve problems and follow-up
• Analyzes business, including selling reports, to provide recommendations to the buyer/Merchandisers
• Maintains planned receipt flow on a consistent basis. Tracks when merchandise is being received and uses judgment to make flow issue call outs to buyer when needed.
Auditing:
• Audits refund and/or credits issued in department against itemized sales from the previous day
• Assists research problems discovered during audits and communicates problems with Section Managers
• Presents numerical data effectively
• Support section managers to monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Track and manage, product deliveries and returns
Department Maintenance:
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to Section Manager.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedure
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and storage area
• Ensures a safe and secure work environment

Customer Service:
• Helps solve problems that affect the company’s efficiency, service and productivity
Exemplify key concepts of hospitality when interacting with guests
Personnel Management:
• Support section manager for the training, coaching and development of effective staff for the department.
• Maintains good communication with management, associates and outside contacts
• Build strong working relationships with guests, vendors and associates

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Language Ability:
• Speak, Read and Write English fluently is must
• Japanese bilingual skill will be plus

The required qualifications are as follows:
• Able to read, write, and do simple math problems
• Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from the general public and management
• Ability to interact with all levels of management

EDUCATION
• Associate degree from a two-year College is preferred, but not required
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in a retail or grocery chain establishment also preferred, but not required
• Customer service experience in a similar or comparable work environment, strong verbal communication skills supported by a pleasant and positive attitude of “can do” success
• Strong operational skills with focus on great time management
• Previous experience in retail/restaurant or customer service environment required, previous experience in management preferably of a grocery store highly desirable

WORKING CONDITIONS

Associate duties are performed primarily in the back offices. Inventory Management Associate may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Ability to sit or stand for long periods. Work includes eye-hand coordination, repetitive arm and hand movements, along with frequent interaction with customers and other associates.

SKILLS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Ability to frequently reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 100 lbs. with a lifting aid. And up to 20 lbs. without aid. Ability to push and pull fully loaded hand trucks.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk and move rapidly, bend, stoop, climb, twist, and turn frequently. Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are necessary. Must be able to operate related equipment such as copiers, staples, 10 key, computers, keyboards, phones, etc.
• Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities. Requires knowledge of basic math, weights and measures. Ability to learn section policies and procedures.
• Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to equipment and work aides necessary to perform job duties.

Minimum USD hourly rate: 18.00
Maximum USD hourly rate: 20.00
