Quality Engineer

Enjoy checking engineering & manufacturing processes? 📐📊 Knowledge of Japanese a plus for this Quality Engineer job halfway btwn Fort Wayne, IN & Toledo, OH.

Responsibilities

• Determine production standards for products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules.
• Duties include identifying the specifications for an ideal product.
• Ensure all engineering and manufacturing processes are performed correctly (i.e. correct tools, materials, processes)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent in the automotive industry
• Understanding of IATF 16949:2016 and Quality Management System
• Hands-on experience in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
• Some  Japanese language skills/ knowledge are a plus
