Opening this Fall, Mottai Miami is a modern Japanese restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables.
We’re looking for talented and experienced pastry cooks to join the pastry team of our upscale restaurant. You’ll work with our culinary team to produce desserts that reflect precision, balance, and creativity. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and pride in delivering pastry work that represents the quality and standards of our brand.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen, preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment
- Solid understanding of classic pastry and baking techniques
- Ability to maintain consistency and finesse in high-volume production
- Strong sense of organization, cleanliness, and time management
- Calm, focused, and detail-oriented under pressure
- Collaborative spirit and clear communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Japanese or Asian-inspired desserts is a plus
- Culinary or pastry degree preferred
