About the location:
A secluded oceanfront retreat on Hawaii’s last unspoiled island. On the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lanai, our five-star, five-diamond resort sits just a moment away from many of the most scenic spots, best reached by foot or 4-by-4, and where the Hawaii found in vintage postcards comes vibrantly to life. Spend your days lounging by our lagoon-style pools, strolling our botanical gardens, reconnecting body and spirit at Hawanawana Spa, and savouring Japanese cuisine at cliff-side NOBU LANAI. From the rugged uplands to the aquatic sanctuary of Hulopoe Bay, the opportunities for adventure – and relaxation – are endless.
About the Role:
The Pool Supervisor plays a pivotal role in providing our guests with exception service at our pools by doing the following:
1. Guest Service Excellence: Ensure all guests at the pool area receive attentive, personalized service, responding promptly to any inquiries, requests, or issues.
2. Staff Supervision: Oversee and schedule pool attendants, servers, and other team members, ensuring they are well-trained and deliver consistent service standards.
3. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety around the pool area, including pool decks, lounge chairs, cabanas, and surrounding amenities.
4. Pool Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the pool, pool equipment, and water quality meet resort standards.
5. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of pool towels, amenities, beverages, and other supplies to meet guest demand.
6. Poolside Food & Beverage Service: Oversee poolside food and beverage service, coordinating with the F&B team to ensure timely and high-quality service for guests.
7. Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints effectively and efficiently, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
8. Training and Development: Mentor and train poolside staff on resort standards, guest service protocols, and health and safety regulations.
9. Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, guest feedback, inventory usage, and any incidents, reporting to management as required.
