Position Overview:
As a Quality Manager at our manufacturing facility in Moore, SC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our production processes. You will lead and manage a dedicated team of quality professionals to uphold our commitment to delivering superior products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Leadership:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control systems and procedures to maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Establish quality metrics and KPIs to monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Supplier Quality Management:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate performance and capabilities.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address supplier quality issues and enhance overall supply chain reliability.

Team Management and Development:

  • Lead a team of quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure professional growth and development.
  • Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability within the team and across departments.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration to achieve quality goals and objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Champion root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Engage cross-functional teams to implement best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Customer Focus:

  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address customer feedback and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
  • Proactively communicate quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met or exceeded


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive industries.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving quality goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Understanding of ISO and JIS guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of Paint, Fabrication, Assembly, Inspection operations preferred
  • Basic knowledge of the Japanese language and culture a plus
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
