Are you interested in the educational field? Are you good at building relationships with new customers? As an educator, are you meticulous when choosing what learning tools to use?

A Japanese Educational Organization is currently looking for a full time, Educational Outreach & Promotions Specialist to join their Torrance, CA location.  (Part time, and contracting options are also available)

**For contracting positions, full remote is possible while attending the necessary locations when needed. This could also be done as a side job*

In this position, you would serve as the public face and key promoter of the online learning tools to the U.S. education community. You will be responsible for representing the company at events, visiting schools, and inspiring teachers and administrators to adopt our solutions.

Are you a bilingual JET Alumni who’s looking to transition into something other than teaching, but stay in the education industry? Do you also have some experience in the American Educational System? That’s a big plus!

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 62k-83k mark with great benefits.

Your essential duties would be as follows:

– Serve as the primary company representative at educational conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions across the country.
– Travel frequently to meet with educators, conduct product demonstrations, and build strong relationships within the academic community.
– Conduct local client visits and sales activities with schools and educational institutions in the Greater Los Angeles area.
– Act as a key “promoter” during sales and exhibition interactions, confidently encouraging and securing new users.
– Gather feedback from the educational community to inform product and marketing strategies.

【Work Style & Travel】
Travel: This position requires extensive travel, potentially up to 50% or more of the month, depending on the event schedule.

Please consider the following qualifications:

– Required: A dynamic and engaging personality with exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills.
– Required: Must be able to travel extensively and work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules.
– Professional experience as a teacher, school administrator, or in another role within the U.S. education system is a big plus.
– A deep and intuitive understanding of the culture and needs of American educators and school systems.
– Sales or promotional experience is a plus but not required.

Minimum USD Salary: 62000
Maximum USD Salary: 83000
