Job Type: Location Type: Remote: open to residents of specific US states

 

A Japanese Traveling Company is currently looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual Travel Advisor to join their team. This is a fully remote position for residents of the following states only: CA, NY, NJ, TX and/or NJ.

This position is primarily responsible for arranging the corporate customers and individual customers’ travel needs and maximizing the company revenue.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this would be between the 35k-58k mark. This position also comes with benefits such as health, dental, vision 401k (4% matching), and PTO.

Your essential duties would be as follows:

​​​​​​・Make Air, Hotel, and car reservations with the best customer services as possible as well as maximizing the company revenue.
・Complete the Passenger Name Records (PNRs) with correct formats.
・Handle the customers in any locations.
・Lean and implement commission structures in Domestic & International air tickets.
・Know our preferred vendors (air, hotel, and car).
・Know and follow the company policies.
・Other duties as assigned.

Please consider the following qualifications when applying:

​​​​​​・Minimum 1-2 years travel industry Experience.

・Japanese- English Bilingual required ( written, read & spoken)
・Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Global Distribution System (GDS).
・Ability to troubleshoot basic problems.
・Basic PC Application Knowledge (G-Suite and MS Office).
​​​・Full knowledge of air commission structures.
・Basic knowledge of Travel Industries.
・Satisfy customers’ needs with pricing and customer services.
・Good communication skills among team members as well as the customers, and business partners.
