As a Reservations Manager, you are responsible for driving guest experience and revenue across the West Coast region by managing reservation operations for multiple Zuma locations. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day reservations processes, optimizing booking flow, ensuring accurate communication with restaurant teams, and developing a high-performing reservations team. The role combines operational excellence, service standards, and data-driven decision-making to deliver a seamless pre-arrival experience.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the daily operations of the reservations hub, supporting multiple West Coast locations
  • Ensure all reservations are handled in line with Zuma service standards and regional capacity strategies
  • Maintain accurate table availability and ensure timely updates to the booking systems across all assigned outlets
  • Monitor guest communication channels (phone, email, online platforms), ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries and requests
  • Train and support reservations team members on proper etiquette, system use, and handling of VIP bookings and special requests
  • Collaborate with each restaurant’s management and floor teams to align booking strategy with operational flow and guest experience goals
  • Track and analyze reservations data to identify booking patterns, demand trends, and opportunities for yield optimization
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of each outlet’s layout, menu, peak periods, and special events to make informed booking decisions

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume reservations or call center environment, preferably within upscale dining or hospitality
  • Experience handling reservations for multiple venues or regions is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of booking systems such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy
  • Proven ability to lead a team and maintain service standards across locations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
