Onigilly is a fast-growing, Bay Area-based brand on a mission to bring healthy and handy Japanese food to everyone-starting with our popular onigiri rice balls. We currently operate 5 locations and are opening 2 more this summer.

We’re looking for a hands-on, passionate Area Manager to support our store teams, drive performance, and maintain our high standards across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire store teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure all locations adhere to our high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with store managers to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth across all locations.
• Foster a positive work environment by providing ongoing training, support, and development opportunities for team members.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to execute local promotions and community engagement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste at each location.

Qualifications
• Experience in leading and supporting teams across multiple locations, ideally within the food services industry.
• Ability to coach and develop teams to deliver exceptional service and maintain consistent food quality.
• Proven track record of monitoring and improving sales, labor, and inventory performance.
• Comfortable with regular travel to store locations to ensure top-notch operations and customer experience.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the Director of Operations and other key stakeholders.
• Experience in managing weekly commissary deliveries and ensuring timely and efficient operations.
• Ability to assist in opening new locations and training new teams effectively and efficiently.
