Help us expand the future of healthy, Japanese-inspired food.
Onigilly is a fast-growing, Bay Area-based brand on a mission to bring healthy and handy Japanese food to everyone-starting with our popular onigiri rice balls. We currently operate 6 locations and are opening several more this summer.
We’re looking for a hands-on, passionate Area Manager to support our store teams, drive performance, and maintain our high standards across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences at each location.
• Ensure consistent implementation of operational standards across all restaurants, maintaining our brand’s high quality.
• Collaborate with store managers to develop and execute strategies that drive sales and increase profitability.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning, encouraging staff to reach their full potential.
• Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce waste, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to implement local promotions and community engagement initiatives that boost brand visibility and customer loyalty in the area.
Qualifications
• Experience in managing multiple retail or restaurant locations, ensuring consistent quality and performance.
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor sales data and identify growth opportunities.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards to maintain high-quality operations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with store managers and marketing teams.
• Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and reduce waste.
