Job Title: Retail Team Leader
Location: East Rutherford, NJ

Type: Contract
Compensation: $24.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Must be flexible during store hours including weekend hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, guide retail staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Supervise and support 6-10 retail staff per shift.
• Oversee customer service, cash handling, and register accuracy.
• Manage opening/closing duties and daily shift reports.
• Ensure staff take and record all required breaks per NJ labor laws.
• Communicate updates with HQ.
• Handle customer issues, returns, and discounts per policy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation.
• Coordinate with mall security during peak times or incidents.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• POS experience preferred.
• Team-oriented and supportive of diverse, multilingual staff.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.
