Provide tax compliance services to partnerships and corporations in Japanese and English. Prepare and review U.S. tax returns, calculations, and partner allocations. Analyze investment and financial products. Research inbound and outbound tax issues related to U.S. and foreign partnerships and corporations, and their respective U.S. and foreign owners. Communicate complex tax compliance issues in Japanese and English, verbally and in writing. Ensure that clients’ U.S. federal tax filings are accurate, aligned with the applicable tax laws and regulations, and timely filed. Assist with training junior personnel on engagement teams.
WORK SCHEDULE : 40hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
JOBREQUIREMENTS:
Must havea Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation,Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 yearsof related work experience.
Of therequired experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following:Preparing U.S. federal tax filings for partnerships and corporations; ReviewingU.S. federal tax returns, including 1065 and 1120 tax returns; Performing taxresearch; and Utilizing GoSystem Tax RS and OneSource.
Must haveverbal and written fluency in Japanese.
Travel tovarious locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.
Telecommutingmay be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, dependingon business need.

SALARY RANGE: $94,973 – $138,200 per year
