In this role, the Bilingual Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for acting as the main client contact for general questions and information and supervising and reviewing the work of Tax Services Associates.

The Bilingual Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for:

Utilizing research skills
Applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues
Gathering client information necessary for filing
Participating in tax planning
Recognizing and communicating potential risks
Preparing tax accrual workpapers
Working with tax software applications to complete tax returns for review

Required Skills

3+ years of previous Tax experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Bilingual (English and Japanese)
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively

Desired Skills

Experience with Corporate Taxation, Consolidations, and Partnerships
Prior basic Supervisory experience
Experience preparing and reviewing of Tax Provisions
