Job Summary: Fiery is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Senior Tax Manager to support our worldwide tax operations. As a sole contributor in this key leadership role you will be working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure our company is in compliance with all relevant tax filings, provisions and laws.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage US federal, state, and international income tax returns prepared by external tax preparers
  • Provide support for worldwide tax provision on quarterly and annual basis as required by Fiery Japanese Public Company shareholder
  • Work closely with finance and accounting staff in the US and India
  • Oversee/manage filing of US sales tax, VAT, and GST returns
  • Review transfer pricing calculations/arrangements inside the Fiery group on an quarterly/annual basis as needed
  • Work with accounting team to support/review annual statutory tax provision calculations as needed
  • Manage US federal, state, and international tax planning and implement tax strategies as needed
  • Coordinate responses to IRS, state, and international income tax audits and notices as necessary
  • Keep up to date with relevant tax legislation and help update practices based on changes in tax law
  • Provide cross functional support and assist in special projects as needed, and time permitting

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • CPA and/or MST also required
  • Minimum seven years of tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent corporate tax department experience
  • Technical proficiency with US tax return compliance and tax provisions required
  • Experience with US international tax compliance, international tax, and transfer pricing highly desired
  • Experience with IFRS accounting for international tax issues a plus
  • Experience with SAP (or equivalent) helpful, but not required

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $175,000 USD. Fiery considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
