Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. Tax Associate to join their team. As a Sr. Tax Associate, you will be part of the Tax department supporting the tax compliance and planning functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Tax Associate

Location: New York, NY (On-site in NY 2-3 days/week)

What’s the Job?

• Assist with federal and state tax compliance for individual and corporate clients
• Prepare and review 1040 tax returns and related documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
• Research tax issues and provide guidance on compliance requirements
• Support tax planning initiatives and process improvements

What’s Needed?

• 2-5 years of experience in 1040 tax compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Bi-lingual proficiency in Japanese
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
