BASIC FUNCTIONS
• Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by auditing and analyzing material costs, standard costs, fixed assets, inventories and the general ledger. May establish, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. May direct and coordinate activities of activities of clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Review financial documents for accuracy and authenticity.
• Analyzes, classifies and records financial transactions.
• May prepare reports regarding profits and losses, inventories, receipts and disbursements, balance sheets and other reports.
• May participate in account analysis and management reports.
• Performs month end reconciliation of bank statements, vendor statements and general ledger accounts and perform appropriate accruals.
• Provides monthly variance reports of production and perform appropriate accruals.
• Maintains fixed asset postings, calculate and post depreciation to the general ledger and for tax purposes.
• Prepares reports for audits and works with the auditors in the preparation of the Corporate taxes. Audits contracts, orders and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
• Establishes, modifies, documents and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Japanese bilingual preferred (or at least business level Japanese, reading, speaking, and writing)
• BA/BS in Accounting or Business
• 1-3 years of experience
• Excel intermediate level (pivot table, vlook, and basic formulas)

Salary Description

$65,000-$85,000
