Serve as a host and editor of new weekly content

Job Description

Interested candidates should submit their applications, including a resume and cover letter. Screen auditions will be a requirement of the application process and will be conducted during the interview for selected applicants.

Video Hosting:

– Serve as a charismatic and engaging host for the university’s social media channels.

– Create content in a specific language: English, Japanese, Chinese, French, or Spanish.

– Demonstrate a genuine passion for Soka and effectively convey this enthusiasm on camera.

– Communicate effectively with the audience and bring a student-friendly perspective to the videos.

Post Production Assistance: Collaborate with the Media Office in post-production tasks, including video editing. Previous experience in video editing is a plus but not required.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, French, and Spanish.
• Comfortable in front of the camera with excellent communication skills.
• Interest in post-production work, with a willingness to learn video editing.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, experience and geographic location.
