About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes, managing ingredients, and ensuring exceptional presentation standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional and modern sushi techniques, premium ingredients, and a strong sense of kitchen discipline.What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with precision and aesthetic appeal
  • Ensure freshness, quality, and proper handling of all seafood and ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, complying with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal specials
  • Maintain inventory and assist with ordering high-grade seafood and sushi products
  • Interact with guests (if applicable) in a professional, informative, and engaging manner
  • Uphold presentation, portion, and consistency standards at all times

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a fine-dining or luxury restaurant
  • Deep knowledge of Japanese cuisine, knife techniques, and fish preparation
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and passion for aesthetics and flavor balance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
