We’re launching an exciting new sushi concept called Icharo at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Sushi Cook to help bring our vision to life.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Japanese cuisine experience, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you take pride in crafting beautiful, delicious sushi and enjoy working collaboratively, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes, including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped efficiently to meet service demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, following all food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Provide outstanding customer service, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving supplies as needed.

Qualifications
• A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of previous line cook experience preferred, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine.
• Proficiency in basic and intermediate cooking techniques.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight as required in a kitchen setting..
