SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the IAF Talent Acquisition Team by positively contributing to our culture of Teamwork and continuous improvement and helping us source, select, and onboard new team members in various formats. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is a new position, created to help our growing Talent Acquisition Team build IAF’s organizational brand, deepen our talent pools, and create inroads to the top talent surrounding Greenfield, IN.
Some schedule flexibility to come in early or stay later will be necessary to accommodate staffing events and onboarding needs for the off shifts. We are looking for a team player with strong organizational skills, an outgoing personality, a creative curiosity to understand situations and seek positive solutions, a willingness to learn and grow, and a drive for team success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – include the following.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Supports and implements full life cycle recruiting initiatives for a variety of roles.
- Collaborates with organizational management on needs and hiring criteria.
- Selection of effective sourcing methods and materials.
- Recommending and coordinating of mindful screening process.
- Compensation alignment and offer negotiation.
- Completion of all pre-employment elements.
- Supporting onboarding and assimilation.
- Data entry and analysis, i.e., feedback survey results, Talent Acquisition Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tracking, Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and Applicant Tracking Software (ATS), etc.
- Recommends, coordinates, and participates in all job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies with the utmost confidentiality.
- Other HR support duties, including but not limited to reviewing and creating company-wide communications, assisting with recruiting and job fairs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in human resources, marketing, business, or a related field. 2-5 years’ related experience in recruiting, specifically related to high-volume or manufacturing. The equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals/documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups. Computer programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite, are regularly used to communicate and gather information. Fluent in English. Japanese as a second language is helpful.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Desire to proactively and collaboratively work toward solutions with cross-functional team input.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, lift, or twist.
