Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc is looking to hire a Technical Administrative Assistant who is bilingual Japanese. The Technical Administrative Assistant will support both the Tire Testing and Tire Development teams in helping them with translation, interpretation, daily administrative tasks, as well as managing the purchasing and ordering activities for the department. This position will report to the head of the R&D department which is located in White, Georgia.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Provide daily administrative support to TTHA R&D Department to include:
• Prepare travel arrangements for R&D personnel and visiting members.
• Arrange appointments/meetings for both internal and external personnel/customers.
• Greet guests, handle incoming and screened phone calls, address regular inquiries for information, and record meeting notes as necessary.
• Maintain hard and electronic office files and records.
• Maintain office inventory and stocks of office/testing room supplies.
• Assist the supervisor to monitor and record expenditure/disbursement of funds.

Provide support Tire Development team and Tire Testing team to include:
• Support 3rd party tire testing management (PO, Tire Shipping, Quote, Invoice, Budget, etc.)
• Assist in creating and translating Technical Documents (Tire Spec, Testing Procedure, SOP, etc.)
• Provide interpretation services for meetings, discussions, and business-related activities involving parties from different countries.
• Establish and maintain a technical library of specifications, standards, procedures, and documents.

Provide support to Japanese expatriates to help them adjust to their surroundings during their visits, residences, and work assignments in TNA, White, Georgia, USA.

Other duties may be assigned.

The salary range listed is what we reasonably expect to compensate generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on the specific job description. We provide a competitive compensation package along with a robust benefits program to meet your needs.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Communication skill (oral & written) skill with outside vendors or department.
• Management skill for each task progress
• Knowledge of document processing, department support, managing files and records, and designing forms
• Communication skills (oral & written) in Japanese and English
• Ability to uphold discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Superior analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow Company policies and safety guidelines/procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent in both English and Japanese languages. With the ability of crafting articulate and succinct communications in both Japanese and English. Proficient in delivering information effectively during individual and small group interactions with organization members, using both Japanese and English languages.

Minimum USD hourly rate: 25.00
Maximum USD hourly rate: 28.00
