• Salary: $49-53/ per hour
• Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and understand complex technical policies related to cybersecurity, compliance, and IT operations
• Author and maintain policies in Markdown (MD) format with a focus on machine readability and automation readiness
• Convert Markdown documents into HTML for web-based publishing
• Manage policy versioning, collaboration, and deployment workflows using GitHub
• Collaborate with security engineering teams to deploy policies and configurations
• Ensure policies are structured for compatibility with automation tools and security orchestration platforms
• Align policy content with regulatory frameworks and operational requirements in collaboration with compliance and audit teams
• Continuously improve policy documentation processes for clarity, accuracy, and usability
• Support training and communication related to policy updates

• Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in technical policy writing (cybersecurity or IT compliance preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Markdown (MD) and converting MD to HTML
• Hands-on experience with GitHub (version control, collaboration, deployment workflows)
• Understanding of machine-readable policy formats and automation principles
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with scripting/automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Knowledge of SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) platforms
• Familiarity with cloud security policies and controls
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
