Position Title: To Go Specialist

Kobe Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is looking for a highly skilled To Go Specialist to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

As a To-Go Specialist, you will greet guests warmly, accurately pack orders, and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure every guest enjoys a great takeout experience. The position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, and the ability to handle To-Go and catering orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Prepare to-go and catering orders and package them correctly.
• Set up and maintain To Go steam tables
• Prepare soup, salad, Kobe sauces for orders and restock to-go items.
• Knowledge of food and beverage by understanding menu items, ingredients, and pairings, including dietary restrictions and allergens.
• Monitor tablets for any Toast, UberEats, and/or Doordash orders.
• Monitor and answer incoming phone calls for To-Go orders.
• Handle pick up orders, including curbside pick up.
• Keep the to-go prep area clean and well organized.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate integrity, respect, hard work, teamwork and a positive attitude values
• Experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Must have excellent communication and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays preferred.
• Must be able to continuously walk and stand for an extended period of time
• Must maintain good hygiene and a professional appearance
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and company standards
• Follow all Responsible Vendor training guidelines to promote safe and legal alcohol service
• Must be 18 years of age
