Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead and develop a high performing inside sales organization focused on complex equipment financing and leasing solutions for Fortune 500 clients. You will lead a team of Directors of Sales (DS), each responsible for a pod of Account Executives (AE), each generating Fair Market Value (FMV)
and Finance lease originations. Continue to hire, develop and manage DSs to grow originations and achieve annual quota goals for each team. The ideal candidate is a proven people leader who thrives in a performance-driven culture and has a track record of scaling enterprise sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership Development & Team Performance
o Coach and mentor Directors of Sales to become exceptional people leaders capable of developing AEs to consistently exceed $30MM in annual
originations.
o Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance across all sales teams.
• Strategic Sales Execution
o Partner with DSs to drive growth through both client expansion and new
account acquisition.
o Ensure AEs are effectively penetrating all verticals within assigned accounts and executing strategic account plans.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Management
o Champion a “white glove” client experience, positioning the company as a
trusted advisor in every interaction.
o Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Deal Strategy & Revenue Growth
o Guide DSs in structuring and closing complex, high-value deals.
o Participate in key client meetings, pricing discussions, and strategic
negotiations as needed.
• Operational Excellence
o Analyze win/loss trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
o Oversee AE hiring, performance management, and succession planning in partnership with DSs.
• Organizational Leadership
o Serve as a key member of the Cross-Functional Management Team, contributing to company-wide strategy and culture.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in finance, equipment leasing, IT, or transportation industries.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-layered sales teams in a complex B2B environment.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and scale performance without increasing headcount.
• Strong executive presence and experience engaging with Fortune 500 clients.
• Ability to bring a high-performing team or network of sales talent is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary: $200,000-$215,000
• Total Compensation (salary, commissions and bonuses): $575,000 to $800,000.
