Analyst System Engineering
Role Overview
Supports and/or develops systems (applications) to fulfill business needs. Solves existing systems problems, analyzes information, designs, programs and/or implements new systems or enhancements to existing systems in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Solves existing business applications and/or systems situations for customers.
- Creates, modifies and/or enhances business applications and/or systems to satisfy business information demands.
- Identify recommend and Implement application software solutions (custom or purchase).
- Ensures support projects and/or requests are in accordance with the site strategy for applications architecture.
- Keeps systems and/or applications on current and/or supported versions.
- Keeps close communications with customers during the development cycle or support phases of systems supported.
- Keeps up to date on technology trends and trains and/or assists systems users in the proper use of business applications
- Participates and/or represents departments in cross functional, global and/or departmental teams and forums as requested.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Syncade.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field (i.e. Computerized Information Systems, Computer Science or Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering)
- Strong background and understanding of IT solutions, including web-based applications, databases, data analytics & business intelligence tools, system development life cycle, and advanced technical troubleshooting skills.
- Appropriate understanding of IT applications & services, including the importance of inventory and lifecycle management initiatives to maintain the reliability, resiliency, integrity, and availability of our assets and services.
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability to communicate using a variety of methods in diverse forums
- Demonstrated ability to influence peers and leadership consistently and significantly
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and across multiple levels
- Demonstrated ability to triage issues and escalate only those that are appropriate
- Demonstrated Project Management abilities to lead projects through the management of scope, time, issues, and risks.
- Strong customer service and teamwork oriented
- Knowledge on Pharmaceutical regulations (e.g. cGMP’s, 21 CFR Part 11, Computers Systems FDA) and other applicable regulations
- Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects.
- Knowledge of data historian technology (e.g. OSI-PI)
- Knowledge of S88 and S95 Standards.
- Strong technical skill in T-SQL programming language
- Relevant manufacturing experience
- Available to support a 24/7 operations.
- Occasional US and OUS travel may be required

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$52,500 – $132,000
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
