Japanese Bilingual Candidate with a Passion for Gaming Needed for Product Coordinator Opportunity at Japanese Company!!!

A Japanese Entertainment-Gaming company is currently seeking a full time, hybrid Japanese-Bilingual Product Coordinator to join their Redondo Beach, CA location.

The product Coordinator is responsible for the upkeep of a live operations product. Job duties also include maintaining records of a game title, checking for fan feedback, and ensuring the accuracy of the information handled.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between the 48k-56k with great benefits.

Your essential duties would include the following:

・Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and America’s production team for a live operations title.

・Responsible for monitoring product updates and maintenance.

・Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.

・Share fan feedback with Japanese development teams.

・Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa.

・Provide feedback on marketing materials.

・Check accuracy of in-game messaging.

・Check the accuracy of messaging on all official channels.

・Provide a helpful presence for the fans.

・Create proposals for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise at live events.

・Assist with KPI data analysis.

・Ensure correct timings of messages, announcements, and reveals.

Please consider the following qualifications when applying:

– Must be business-level proficiency in English and in Japanese (both written and verbal).
– Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– One to two years of localization experience in the same or a similar role preferred.
– Willingness to travel for business as needed.
– Flexibility to work overtime and late-night shifts when required.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Strong eagerness to learn and grow in the video game industry.
– Passion for games!

– Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and handling video equipment.
– Experience working on mobile free-to-play titles and operating live ops games.
– Proven track record of generating results in a data-driven environment.
– Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
