The Assistant Coach, Women’s Golf assists with the coaching and administrative duties of the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf program. The Assistant Coach teaches golf fundamentals and skills associated with tournament play. This position provides instruction to their student-athletes during practice and competition. The Assistant Coach evaluates and recruits prospective student-athletes by seeking out recruitment opportunities locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. This position will assist with the implementation of detailed development plans for the current student-athletes. The Assistant Coach analyzes and communicates statistical data to assist with making coaching decisions. This position also serves as the Tournament Manager for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

- Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes, support staff and vendors
- Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated
- Strong organizational, management and leadership skills
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media
- Ability to input, track and analyze statistical data related to golf performance
- Proven operational knowledge of Trackman including, ability to analyze and report data to player
- Availability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Schedule and book travel for team tournaments and recruiting
- Ability to travel with sports teams for away contests
- Full driver’s license and experience driving oversized vehicle.
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 year of golf coaching experience
OR
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) or Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Membership
- 3 years of golf coaching experience
- Previous coaching experience in NCAA Division I or II Intercollegiate Athletics
- Professional playing experience or Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
- Bilingual – Language Preference for Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. Other languages will be considered too.
