A Japanese Manufacturing Company specializing in cutting tools is looking for an entry level, full time Japanese-English Bilingual Sales Representative to join their Cincinnati, OH location.

Prior sales experience, although preferred, is not required! Worried that your Japanese is not advanced enough? If you have a conversational level of Japanese, that’s more than enough to apply!

The sales representative, along with the sales team, will build and manage relationships with clients, assist in expanding business opportunities, and support overall sales efforts. Emphasizing the company’s motto, “Walk Together,” this role focuses on collaboration and customer satisfaction to drive success.

The salary range for this position BOE and skills starts at 60k, and it can go up to 80k!

Your essential duties for this position would include the following:

Core Sales Activities:

– Support sales growth by assisting with customer interactions, from initial inquiries to payment collection, while developing skills in client relationship management.
– Communicate effectively with internal teams to foster collaboration and achieve sales goals.
– Participate in sales activities that promote trust and uphold the company’s values.

Internal Operations:

– Contribute to in-house communication by reporting daily activities to supervisors and flagging any potential issues.
– Work closely with the Customer Service team to manage inventory and assist with customer-related tasks.
– Attend company events, trade shows, and exhibitions to build industry knowledge and support promotional efforts.

Customer-Facing Responsibilities:

– Assist with processing purchase orders and coordinate with the team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
– Support customers with payment processes, collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth transactions.
– Help maintain positive customer relationships, contribute to sales growth, and respond to inquiries with a professional approach.
–  Participate in witness tests and assist in reporting customer feedback to ensure quality and satisfaction.
– Attend sales meetings and support the preparation of materials to assist in business expansion.

Please consider the following qualifications:

– Fluent in Japanese and English; no prior sales experience required. (conversational Japanese is ok as well)
– Strong communication skills to facilitate internal teamwork and positive client interactions.
– Willingness to learn about sales processes, inventory management, and client support.
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to use company vehicles responsibly.
