Location: Los Angeles, California

Hours: M-F: 8AM – 5PM

Essential Job Functions
• Inputs, updates, and maintains sales orders, invoices, customer records and bill-back data within the Company database
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport
• Answers customer questions about product features, product benefits, and procedures
• Supports Division trade shows event production and execution
• Reports any inventory or service issues to appropriate account manager immediately
• Collaborates with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and ensure that orders are completed on time
• Assists salespersons with collection of payment in a timely manner
• Updates and prepare all monthly sales materials/reports as defined by the Division
• Scribes department meetings and distribute meeting minutes to the team
• Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
• Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
• Other duties as assigned
• Obligation to answer to all management as requested

Physical Requirements
• Able to sit in an office for a majority of the day
• Able to type and use a computer for extended periods of time
• Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Working Conditions

o Noise Level: Normal to loud

o Indoors

Other Requirements
• Business level English required, Native level English preferred
• Business level Japanese and Chinese required, Native level preferred
• Maintains a positive attitude
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Able to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
• Passes the Sake Adviser course within 1 year of employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree and above preferred
• Minimum 1 year of food or liquor sales required
• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills
• Clerical/Administrative Support
• Knowledge of ERP systems, especially AS400, highly preferred
• Demonstrates basic Microsoft Office proficiency
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
• Has strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Has strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred
