FOH Server

Friendly and energetic candidates are needed for a FOH service role in the Ballard and U-District area in Seattle!

Our FOH team members are the key to providing a wonderful experience for our customers! We are looking for someone who can provide consistent excellent customer service skills, is able to multitask efficiently under pressure, and above all is a great team worker.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive care to customers throughout their dining experience
• Be able to reach a confident understanding of our menu to better guide customers
• Take accurate orders and input them promptly into the POS system
• Act as a bridge between our kitchen and customers, serving food with care and proper attention to detail
• Serve beverages to customers, ranging from non-alcoholic juices to beer, sake, and wine
• Monitor tables closely to ensure customer satisfaction and provide seamless service
• Handle all customer questions, requests, concerns, and special accommodations with care
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with all team members
• Maintain an organized FOH environment by promptly bussing tables and keeping work areas clean
• Contribute to the friendly atmosphere of our restaurant

Qualifications

Some FOH service experience preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train anyone that is eager to learn! Basic Japanese skills and English skills preferred. Washington State Food Worker Card required within 14 days of hire, and MAST permit required within 60 days of hire.

Pay

Minimum wage ($21.30) + tips, averaging $35-$45 an hour.

Hours

Friday-Sunday (4:30pm-close, around 10pm) at Steak Easy. Shifts at Okonomiyaki Jibanya TBD.
