Summary:

You are responsible for the proper maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms, guest public areas, meeting rooms, restaurants, and lounges. Together with, the responsibility for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner. Participation in preventative maintenance program. Respond to maintenance requests generated by staff members and guests in a timely manner. Maintenance of company property may include and is not limited to electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responding to various general routine maintenance requests from Upper management and Operations team
  • Performing routine self maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, HVAC, painting, Kitchen equipment, carpentry, cleaning and general handyman tasks
  • Performing troubleshooting tasks for various pieces of equipment
  • Schedule and supervise the maintenance of all aspects of the building
  • Work with operations team to handle and maintain health compliance requirements
  • Prepare weekly report to be shared with the head of maintenance
  • Ensure proper use of the maintenance management application (Ecotrak)

  • General construction and handyman skills
  • Carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, electrical and others
  • Experience in the maintenance and with the functionality of kitchen and refrigeration equipment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Organizational skills and record keeping
  • Written and oral communications skills
  • Basic computer technology skills

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years

Physical Demands And Work Environment:

  • Site assignments-(ability to carry heavy items) which lends itself to repetitive motion.
