If so, join us as a Producer, Game Production focused on the pre-typesetting pipeline for Magic: The Gathering. You’ll own schedules and asset details, turn simultaneous moving parts into crystal-clear action items, and build tools and resources that keep our Wizards at full mana. What You’ll Do:
- Manage Schedules: Build and maintain project timelines and projections, track metrics, and surface risks and challenges
- Drive On-Time Delivery: Proactively remove blockers, flag scope shifts, and find needed info to button up details to maintain project momentum
- Communicate & Coordinate: Serve as an impact-focused liaison-aligning cross-functional teams, holding partners accountable for assets, and documenting requirements and timelines. Lead meetings with clear agendas, provide reliable notes and actionable next steps
- Develop & Improve Tools: Create Smartsheet templates, streamline workflows, and build dashboards and reports. Act as a point of contact for teams and individuals developing expanded tools to support game production
What You’ll Bring:
- Production Experience: 3+ years in games/entertainment, technology or high-output print production roles, running multiple overlapping projects and schedules
- Collaborative Drive: Self-motivated partnership champion who removes blockers, builds trust, holds partners accountable and is a cross-functional ally to support Magic and those who make it
- Tech & Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Smartsheet, Excel, Jira, Confluence, and print/digital asset pipelines. Practiced in project management methodologies: Agile (scrum/Kanban) & waterfall
- Problem Solving & Flexibility: Lead tool testing, track metrics, gather feedback, and develop process improvements in an evolving landscape. Pivot quickly when needed and focus on minimizing manual updates for repeatable processes
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of Magic: The Gathering gameplay and terminology
- Familiarity with file types and storage methods including digital asset management
- Experience participating in software rollout/release and Jira ticket lifecycle
- General Scripting knowledge relating to task automation (renaming batches of files, parsing data exports, generating reports)
- Knowledge around Miro, Esko WebCenter, Claris FileMaker, Adobe Creative Suite
- Japanese language proficiency is a major plus!
Additional Details:
Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Eastridge as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.
- Employment Type: Contingent Worker
- Location: Renton, WA (3 days in-office. Relocation assistance not provided.)
- Duration: 12 months
Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $47.00/hour
- Pay Range End: $57.00/hour
