Japanese Company looking for Inside Sales Specialist!

Communicative & Responsible candidate needed for Inside Sales Specialist position for a Japanese Company! (possible hybrid after 6 months)

A Japanese Manufacturing Company is currently on the lookout for an Inside Sales Specialist to join them for their Rolling Meadows, IL location.

Unlike an Outside Sales Position which focuses on business development and outbound sales, this position focuses a lot more on customer service and supply chain aspects normally within an office setting answering calls, providing information to customers, doing some data entry and other office related tasks.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the supply chain as well as to hone your customer service skills.

This position’s pay for this position would be  60k and includes great benefits. Based on performance, this position could become a hybrid one after 6 months!

Your essential duties would include the following:

• Accurately entering orders into the main operating system
• Sending order acknowledgements to customers.
• Reviewing order fulfillment status
• Sending shipment instructions to our warehouses
• Checking product availability and supply
• Providing tracking information to customers
• Forecasting import and domestic production with customer orders
• Answering phone calls and emails

Examples of daily tasks

• Answering phone calls and emails
• Overseeing shipments from our warehouses
• Analyzing and approving test results from our contracted manufacturers

Please consider the following qualifications when applying:

• ​​​​​​​4 Year Degree
• Preferred experience in supply chain and procurement
• Knowledge and experience in working with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be detail orientated
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Good teamwork with external and internal members.
