We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we sell to our customers through our various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We are currently hiring for our CocoNene brand. We sell island lifestyle home decor and personalized gifts and souvenirs. We are looking for a part-time friendly, driven and reliable sales associate to be a brand ambassador to all things Aloha for our store in Ala Moana Shopping Center. This means providing unmatched customer service and selling our fun, unique and Hawaii-made gifts & souvenirs, all while imparting our own unique Hawaii stories with guests. Pay is between $17-21/h. Part-time employees qualify for the employee discount (25% across all sister companies). Day-to-day responsibilities:

– Assist customers with shopping experience, sharing our story, brand and products

– Hitting individual sales goals & other key metrics

– Keeping the store looking great at all times, cleaning as needed

– Stock/inventory & shipment duties

– Cash handling, operating point of sale programs, preparing bank cash deposits

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

– Experience in customer service and retail, preferred

– Experience with handling cash and POS systems, preferred

– Conversational Japanese, preferred
– Warm, friendly, positive attitude – excited to share the CocoNene Way and products with guests

– Goal-oriented, driven to grow sales

– Strong desire to learn, grow and improve

– Reliable

– Able to work independently

– Flexible, ability to adapt to daily responsibilities

– High school graduate or equivalent

Status and Schedule:

– Flexible/open availability (store hours 10am-6/8pm)

– Looking for help on the weekends and potentially during the week, as well
