Rosella KPT is looking for strong servers to join our team!!

Rosella is a New American Sushi Restaurant based out of New York opening its second location in Kennebunkport this summer. The food at Rosella highlights often overlooked, domestic species with an emphasis on sustainability, offering locally caught fish and shellfish, all approved by either Seafood Watch or NOAA prior to appearing on the menu. Some species come from sustainable farms, and others are wild-caught through methods with minimal environmental impact.

Compensation is a competitive hourly rate, with consistent gratuity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing an elevated guest experience with warm hospitality and a positive attitude
  • A strong understanding of and familiarity with the menu, ingredients, and beverages, that regularly rotate, and an ability to communicate them to guests effectively
  • Set up and breakdown of the bar and dining room nightly
  • Bussing and clearing tables. As well as polishing during downtime
  • Being an organized team player who can manage prep, work, guest experience, and communicate efficiently
  • The ability to work under pressure and function in an open kitchen
  • Excellent time-management skills

Expected skills:

  • 2+ years of service experience
  • A warm personality and a positive team-forward attitude
  • Comfortable engaging with guests to create a connection
  • A trustworthy and reliable nature
  • Open availability including weekends
  • Clear communication skills
  • Good spatial awareness
  • Multitasking in a busy environment
  • Organized and efficient
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • A sincere passion for food and beverage and the guest experiences
  • Some experience in Japanese and or sushi restaurants is preferred
  • Familiarity with open table and or toast is a plus
  • Servsafe certification will be a requirement for FOH and BOH managers, but we will work with you to obtain it if needed
