Dynamic luxury resort seeks a skilled Sous Chef to oversee kitchen operations, mentor staff, and ensure exquisite food preparation.
Qualifications
– minimum 3 years as a sous chef in a fine dining restaurant (union experience strongly preferred)
– Familiar with Pacific Rim, Japanese, or Asian-influenced techniques/cuisine
– Proficient with computer systems and standard kitchen equipment
Responsibilities
– Supervise and train kitchen staff, schedule cooks, and support chefs
– Conduct daily reviews of food and labor costs, maintain recipe costing sheets
– Plan menus, prepare and cook food items, and manage supply requisition
