Talent Network: Multilingual Financial Audio Transcriber (Part-Time/Hourly)

About the Role:

We are seeking individuals who have a basic familiarity with financial markets to help transcribe and review audio discussions. You do not need to be a professional transcriptionist or a finance expert. Experience buying or selling stocks personally and a general understanding of how financial markets work is sufficient. Your role will be to accurately transcribe conversations and review AI-generated summaries of discussions that may reference companies, stock tickers, and common market terms.
Tasks & Deliverables:

• Task 1: Transcription of audio data following provided guidelines.
• Task 2: Review and evaluate corrections of AI-generated transcription summaries.

Required Skills:

• An understanding of financial terms such as ETFs, DOW, SPIDER, and tickers.
• Basic experience in buying and selling stocks (can be personal experience).
• Be fluent and hold the ability to comprehend and transcribe financial discussions in one of the following languages: Bahasa, Cantonese, * French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to evaluate AI-generated summaries.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Previous experience in transcription, even if informal.
• Familiarity with both US markets and the stock trading landscape.

Engagement Details:

• Commitment Type: 5 consecutive days – 8 hours/day
• Hourly rate $25-$50 per hour, depending on language and experience.
• Duration: 1 week
• Location: On-site at NYC, Chicago, Jersey City, Seattle, or Palo Alto.
• Start Date: Selected individuals will start in April after passing client’s background and ID verification process.
