Join a leading automotive manufacturer’s team as a Video Production Analyst and make a visible impact on safety communications across North America. You will be a key player in a small, collaborative team, crafting compelling video content that enhances safety awareness and practices. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your creative and technical expertise, taking ownership of the entire video production lifecycle – from concept to delivery.

As a Video Production Analyst, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment where your creativity and technical skills converge. You’ll collaborate closely with the safety team to develop engaging and informative safety videos. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing safety awareness and practices across the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality safety videos, managing all stages of production from concept development and scriptwriting to filming, editing, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and develop video content that effectively communicates safety messages.
  • Utilize your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Animate) to create visually appealing and impactful videos.
  • Employ expert videography skills, including camera operation, lighting, audio techniques, and editing, to ensure professional-grade productions.
  • Manage project timelines, plan shoots, and handle all pre- and post-production tasks efficiently.
  • Develop animations and motion graphics to enhance video content and engage viewers.
  • Oversee video distribution across various channels, ensuring optimal reach and impact.
  • Support other media production as needed, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
  • Coordinate safety-focused activities with division leads and other safety communication leads across North America.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Animate).
  • Expert skills in videography, encompassing camera operation, lighting/audio techniques, editing, and delivery.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the video production process, including managing timelines, planning, scriptwriting, and shoot preparation.
  • Expert skills in animation planning and development.
  • Strong understanding of various video distribution channels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Proven experience in developing high-quality communications using current technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including scriptwriting experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a project from conception to delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail, resourcefulness, proactiveness, self-motivation, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of leadership and collaborate across teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in automotive or other manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or Japanese and assist in translations.

Notes: This is a long-term contract opportunity (with great benefits) fully onsite in Georgetown, KY that will last 3 years. There will be 30-50% TRAVEL required (US, Mexico & Canada) to shoot video footage of safety events, meetings, projects, etc. The travel will be relatively short trips – Monday through Friday would be the max days of travel, but typically just for a few days. Steel toe boots are required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.00 to $39 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
