Mottai Miami is a modern Japanese restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables.

We are seeking a professional Door Attendant to join the front-of-house team of our upscale restaurant. This role requires a commanding presence, discretion, and strong situational awareness. You will be the first and last impression of the restaurant. Besides welcoming guests, you will proactively engage with passersby, represent the restaurant with confidence, and help generate interest that drives walk-in traffic, while working closely with the host team and management to maintain flow and recognize returning and VIP guests.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience in luxury retail or hospitality, in a guest-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with a confident and outgoing presence
• Polished, professional appearance and the ability to engage passersby and invite guests inside
• Comfortable answering basic questions about the restaurant’s concept, cuisine, and experience
• Calm, observant, and composed, with strong awareness in managing the entrance
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist guests as needed
• Working knowledge of Spanish or another language is a plus
