Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the day-to-day financial transactions related to accounts receivable. This role involves applying payments, handling debits and credits, and communicating effectively with a global team.
Responsibilities
- Apply payments accurately and efficiently.
- Manage debits and credits in the financial system.
- Scan financial documents to the bank as required.
- Answer incoming phone calls and address queries.
- Perform other miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in handling accounts receivable and credit card transactions.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in accounts receivable.
- Understanding of credits and debits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems, flexible with various major ERPs.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
Work Environment
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment as part of a Japanese-based company. You will collaborate with team members located outside of the country and work closely with sales professionals from Japan. This role requires adaptability to different cultures and practices, and offers a chance to gain international business experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $24.00/hr.
