Hojoko is where it all comes to life. A Japanese-inspired tavern fueled by loud music, high energy, and seriously good food. It’s where high-end technique meets low-key fun-wagyu cheeseburgers, spicy ramen, sake bombs-executed with the same precision and care as a fine dining kitchen. We take flavor seriously…everything else, not so much.

We’re looking for a Bartender who commands the bar, connects with guests, and brings the energy. M-F 10:30 – 4:30 PM

THE GIG (AKA WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING)

• Own the bar experience – setting the tone, building the vibe, and guiding guests from first hello to final goodbye
• Balance craft, speed, and personality with ease, even when the bar is packed and the energy is high
• Build real rapport with guests, making the bar feel personal, welcoming, and alive
• Execute service with precision – using the POS accurately, following steps of service, and ensuring proper glassware, setup, and presentation
• Know the menu inside and out – food, beer, wine, cocktails – and stay curious about learning more
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and service-ready; execute opening, closing, and restocking with purpose; support all service channels; communicate guest feedback; serve alcohol responsibly; jump in where needed; and show up sharp and professional for nights, weekends, and holidays
