Position Description:
The Department of Classical and Modern Languages invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer teaching positions to teach language courses in Arabic, Chinese, Classics, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish or courses on world culture taught in English, based on qualifications.
Qualifications:
18 hours of graduate coursework in the discipline or a related field, near-native proficiency, at least one semester of classroom teaching experience and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include skill in providing quality instruction and support to a diverse student body and ability to use different learning technologies to enhance student learning.
Applicants must apply on-line and attach a document containing a current vita, transcripts (official transcripts required prior to employment), and names and contact information of at least three references who can speak to teaching qualifications.
