An industrial technology manufacturer and distributor is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to support procurement, inventory management, international logistics, and supply chain operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and coordinating with suppliers, customers, logistics providers, and teams in both the U.S. and Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Source industrial parts and obtain vendor quotations
- Manage purchase orders, sales orders, and customer quotations
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation
- Work closely with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams
- Support invoicing, order tracking, and operational reporting
- Communicate regularly with colleagues and partners in Japan
Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Knowledge of accounting or finance is a plus
- Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift packages and perform occasional warehouse-related tasks
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $75,000+ plus bonus
